God's Pharmacy

To continue from yesterday's blogging on God's Pharmacy from Different Strokes compiled by V.Raghavendra:

Kidney beans look like human kidneys and heal and help maintain kidney functions!

Sweet potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics!

Olive assists the health and function of ovaries!

Onions look like body cells .Research shows Onions help clear waste materials from all the blood cells!

We go searching for Pharmacies all over the city, utilising the facility of    the God's Pharmacy right  in your vicinity, where the medicines are offered without any prescriptions!

Thanks to V.Raghavendra,7th Block,Jayanagar,Bangalore  for bringing home this vital point in his DIFFERENT STROKES.

Iam immensely benefited by the compilation on GOD's PHARMACY

So I thought I should share it with you all.

Hope you too are benefited.

Dhoni reserves his heroics for the crucial matches?

Dhoni is a mysterious character! Not only Lady Luck smiles on him  but he also plays his trump card when needed very badly! With his batting exploits he showed  Harbajan's Mumbai the door in the eliminator!187 for 5 is an imposing total indeed.

Mumbai could just make 149!
Rohit Sharma,Pollard Bravo all turned out to be paper tigers!Just simply did not fire when it needed at Bangalore on 23June.
So Chennai meets Delhi n the other eliminator at Delhi's home ground.

Can Dhoni do it again or his deputy and adversary Sehwag will have the last laugh?

Their fans are biting their nails!Who loses the max nails we will have to wait and watch!

Sharukh Khan all smiles!

So Sharukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders in final of IPLV.

Gautam Gambhir won with a vengeance over Delhi(his former team)

Sharukh Khan is in great spirits!Delhi's 144became a nail biting game for Kolkata.

One guy called Yusuf Pathan, who sent the redcherry all over the place in IPLI and was termed a big find as a hitter has been having a lean patch, the ignominy of being dropped from the Indian team too.
Yesterday he played the game what Kolkata knew of him in a blistering fashion(40 of 21 balls ) and helped Kolkata reach the final.

What is in store in the Eliminator round Mumbai vs lucky Chennai today?

Lets wait and watch!

No Bangalore,no Gayle!

What a disappointment for Bangaloreans!

RCB not to figure in the playoffs of IPLV!

It is a reflection of the erratic and unpredictable batting of the RCB.Gayle hits the roof or digs the ground!
Too much of dependence on Gayle in the earlier matches cost RCB dear.
Virat Kohli shined in the later games only.
In the last  league match Steyn was almost unplayable!

Rajastan too had the taste of Steyn's fury!Poor Dravid!Rajasthan was a formidable force under Dravid.

The luckiest of all is Chennai no doubt. Will they have a crack at the Cup once again?

They have come to the playoffs based on the last match failures of RCB and Rajasthan!

Many nail biting finishes in this IPL V.Spectators had their money's worth.Gayle serving the biggest feast!

Exposed to some unknown vibrations which electrifies?!

The peace of mind and tranquility one gets when one is in a Temple is something beyond description.
True it is that God resides within us say all the scriptures.

But when one visits a Temple one comes out of his routine thinking and egoistic feelings and is exposed to some unknown vibrations which electrifies!

Have you experienced it?.

One of  such Temples is the Sri Varadaraja Perumal  Temple and the other Sri Kamakshiamman  Temple at nagareshu Kanchi, about 70 kms from Chennai.

One has to visit these Temples for their divinity, inexplicable!.

It is sad for IPL!

Is it not sad that spot fixing scandal is surfacing in IPL?

Leaving  alone a Film Star 's brawl at the gate or a misbehaviour of a player the news that saddens an ardent fan of IPL is the spot fixing.

With an enormous craze for this fast paced game millions of fans hope to see a clean game first of all.

If a doubt arises that a game is being tampered with by illegal means and fixing its a big blow for the game's following.

.Don't you agree with me?

Bowling a No Ball is the methodology in Spot Fixing.

Just for info Do you know which all fall under No Ball category.?

An umpire will rule a no ball under any of the following conditions:.

[edit]Illegal action by the bowler

  • If the bowler bowls without some part of the front foot either grounded or in the air behind the popping crease
  • If the bowler bowls with the back foot not wholly inside the return crease.
  • If the bowler bowls more than one ball above the head height in a over.
  • If the bowler throws, rather than bowls, the ball
  • If the bowler changes the arm with which he bowls without notifying the umpire.
  • If the bowler changes the side of the wicket from which he bowls without notifying the umpire.
  • If the bowler bowls underarm unless this style of delivery is agreed before the match.
  • If the bowler throws the ball towards the striker's wicket before entering the "delivery stride".
  • If the ball does not touch the ground in its flight between the wickets and reaches the batsman at a height above either his waist when delivered by a fast bowler (this delivery is called a 'Beamer') or the shoulder when delivered by a slow bowler.
  • If the ball bounces more than twice, or rolls along the ground, before reaching the popping crease at the striker's end. However, the ECB has ruled that in certain competitions in England the ball is only allowed to bounce once.
  • If the ball comes to rest in front of the line of the striker's wicket.
