Mulbagal Dosas in ex CM’s breakfast diplomacy!

Was it Mulbagal Dosas   with three types of chutneys,Neeru Dosas, kesari &Kharabhath at the ex CM’s house breakfast or the Jolada roti,Holige and host of other dishes at his  rival Minister Govind M.Karjol’s residence which is going to win the hearts of the BJP MLAs  was the question on 30March against the backdrop of the frantic comeback strategies adopted by Yeddy!(Has Yeddy become like the kid trying all tantrums to get the ice cream denied to him!, )

CM Sadananda Gowda kept away from  these dining table politics!

Any way cooks are prospering in Karnataka!

Are they really lawyers?

After the March 2 City Civil Courts Complex violence ,mayhem returned on 27March  to haunt the City, when a woman police constable and a head constable were attacked, allegedly by a group of advocates at the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate  Court!.
The Advocates Association was quick to condemn the incident and dubbed it as the handiwork of certain “black sheep” who were against the withdrawal of the court boycott.

As told by Basavaraj told Deccan Herald: “A group of advocates surrounded us in the court corridors, when we were there to produce an accused in connection with a case. They abused us using foul language and repeatedly slapped me. When I fell down, they kicked me hard in the stomach and also tore my uniform.’
Basavaraj sustained injuries on the chin, nose, head and was shifted to the Mallya Hospital for treatment.
The advocates are also alleged to have manhandled the woman constable, Roopa.

It may be recalled that  Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), Ramesh and Jitendranath, the then ACP Ulsoorgate sub-division were transferred based on the R K Dutta committee report. All the cases that were filed against the advocates in connection with the March 2 episode are being pursued by the Ulsoorgate police.
Khader Khan, who was being taken to the Court by the two assaulted police personnel, told Deccan Herald: “When I was being taken to the court, a group of 30-40 lawyers ran towards us screaming and took Basavaraj, who was holding me, aside and assaulted him. I was then with constable Roopa. The advocates behaved shabbily with the woman constable. In the melee, some men even suggested that I escape from police custody.’

Advocates Association Bangalore (AAB) Secretary A P Ranganath said his organisation “strongly condemns” the attack. He said “black sheep” and “vested interests” who did not want the court proceedings boycott call to be withdrawn and conflict resolved were responsible for the attack.
Ranganath suspected a political conspiracy behind the continuing standoff and also in Tuesday night’s flare-up.
He said the association would take “very stern” action against and even debar those found guilty of the Tuesday episode if they were identified. Such lawyers wouldn’t be defended and the Association would welcome legal action by the police in this case, he addded.
Bangalore Public is dismayed and disgusted to read this News about violence in the Court premises  time and again.

Whats really happening? Those indulging in violence are they really lawyers?

Some say some antisocial elements are in the advocate robe , entering the court premises!

On the whole pathetic!

UP to steam ahead?

Akhilesh wants metro rails in major UP cities

MeluhaFernHotel.com
Lucknow:  With new Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav prioritising the mono rail and metro rail projects for major cities in Uttar Pradesh, officials are working overtime to prepare a feasibility report on the projects. Officials say the report would be with the chief minister's office in three weeks.

This city has around 4.8 million people, and around 22 percent of the population is dependent on public transport, which is dominated by buses and auto-rickshaws, according to Lucknow Development Authority officials.

Akhilesh Yadav last week ordered his officials also to work on the Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) in Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra and Varanasi while also seeking "forward movement" on the second phase of the Metro rail in Ghaziabad, neighbouring New Delhi.

Having won the  race comfortably in the polls(annihilating the Congress)   vs Rahul Gandhi , in UP,Akhilesh Yadav, the son of Mulayamsingh Yadav, allocates top priority for Infrastructure .

Looks like he has caught the right path and may take UP to the top.

Sachin of Bangalore-Global winner!

Bangalore student is YouTube Space Lab Asia-Pacific winner

India's Sachin S. Kukke is the Asia-Pacific region winner and one of the six global winners of the YouTube Space Lab 2012 contest for young people to design experiments that could be performed in outer space.

The winners of the contest by YouTube and Lenovo, in cooperation with Space Adventures, NASA, ESA (European Space Agency), and JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) were announced at a ceremony at the Newseum here Friday.

Kukke's experiment explores transfer of heat in ferrofluid - a special liquid that gets magnetized when subjected to a magnetic field. The study can benefit development of advanced cooling and heat transfer systems.

A student of mechanical engineering at the BMS College for Engineering in Bangalore,   Kukke called on Indian Ambassador to the US Nirupama Rao Friday and shared his experience of conceptualising and carrying out innovative scientific experiments, an Indian Embassy release said.

Warmly congratulating Kukke on his achievement, Rao said that in India,  a country engaged in rapid economic development, "students like Sachin symbolise the hopes and the potential of a dynamic, resurgent India and it's young population".

She encouraged Kukke to pursue his goals and interests in the specialised area of aerospace engineering and wished him the very best for the years ahead.

At the meeting, Kukke was accompanied by Lee Hunter, head of brand marketing for YouTube, and Claudio Lilienfeld, senior policy manager for Asia Pacific at Google.

Nearly 40 percent of the total number of entries for the contest came from India alone, an indicator of the skills and level of interest in the field of exploration of outer space among the youth in India

Four cheers for Bangalore!

Indian batsmn fatigued in Australia?

Its not only disheartening but also saddening to see Indian batsmen play so badly in Australia.More so when you find the Sri Lankans batting with effortless ease against the same Aussie bowling attack!

Are the Indian batsmen 's techniques so wanting or is it fatigue and lack of mental toughness?

Can anyone doubt Dravid's techniques?Looks like it is due to too much of cricket.

What is happening to Sachin's batting? Is his days are over?
