The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) tournament in Bangalore was a roaring success.What with Fans cheering and going crazy when their stars appeared in Chinnaswamy Stadium Bangalore!Tickets were going in black.Big names from the Bollowood were Bobby Deol,Sohail Khan,Suniel Shetty.From the Sandalwood the star attractions were Sudeep,Darshan,Ambareesh,Sumalatha,Aindrita Ray,Guru Kira while the legend  Dr.Raj Kumar's sons Raghavendra Raj Kumar and Puneet Raj Kumar hopped in to cheer their teams and admitted they were not into the game due to phobia of the hitting ball..  The match of the tournament was Mumbai Heroes vs.Karnataka Bullnerves which drew the capacity crowd. screaming for their stars!It was Karnataka Bullnerves which won the match to the delight of the local fans.

Planted 30,000 trees and still contiuing to plant trees.In Bangalore.A Lady heading a charitable Trust.Numbers is not her aim but to bring back greenery to Bangalore is her dream..
Significant aspect of her mission is to plant trees where there are people to take care of themSo she just doesn't plant trees for the heck of it.Nurturing those Trees is equally important for sustenance says that humble,soft spoken lady called Janet.

Key names in  her list of  sponsors is Yahoo,which sponsors planting of trees for its employees.

What a novel service!What a noble thought!

Swami Vivekananda &Bangalore!

Never knew till I attended the Talk by Mr.Sriram,Former Member Technical KEB that Swami Vivekananda suggested to JRD TATA while sailing in a ship along with him  towards Chicago for his famous lecture,    that opening a Science Institute is a must for Bangalore.Thus was born the world famous TATA INSTITUTE(now the  INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE)

Not only that .Swami Vivekananda had also urged Walchand Hirachand while travelling with him in a train  during his Chicago trip  to bring in  Aircraft technology  in Bangalore which resulted in the birth of Hindutan Aircrafts(now HAL)!

Both  JRD and Walchand Hirachand  had asked it seems "OK.But how to go about it?"

Swami Vivekanand  had directed them to Maharaja Krishna Rajendra Odeyar.

Rest is history.

Mr.K.S.N.Murthy,Chief Mentor Glo Herbals  with his frank and excellent descriptions of the Herbal products enlightened us .They really have an amazing range of Products for the health -conscious.

When he proudly informed that President Pratibha Patil evinced keen interest in the Herbal Products and bought  73 packets of Stevia for her  staff at Rashtrapati Bhavan who are diabetic,we were really impressed..
