According to University Grants Commission data for the academic  year 2010-11 there are 3,30,000 girls as compared to 3,22,000, in medicine..

60% of seats in Medical Colleges are filled by girls as of today when compared to 20% in the 70's says one report!

Will this trend continue next year also?

Creativity in Arts&Science  course offered at IIM -Babgalore is a big hit!Offered as an elective for second year PGP Students has already 140 students enrolling,compared to 30in 2008 when it was introduced!

While music will include Bollywood songs from the Hindi cinemas in the 1960s and some western classics ,literature of Rabindranath Tagore,Leo Tolstoy and Victor Hugo..
Students may get opportunity to watch movies like Guide and Love Story...in th class as part of their syllabus!

As long as they don't deviate from the syllabus and start showing trash too itis ok.Don't you agree?
